Quality of data
Data Quality (quality of data) is the characteristic showing degree of suitability of data to use. Usually data consider high-quality if they are suitable for intended use in transactions, decision making and planning.
The concept also can belongs to a status of set of values of qualitative or quantitative variables. There are many determinations of quality of data, but data usually are considered as high-quality if they "are suitable for intended use in transactions, decision making and planning". According to other approach, data are considered as high-quality if they correctly represent events or objects of the real world to which these data belong.
In addition to these determinations, in process of increase in amount of data, there is important a question of coordination of internal data, irrespective of suitability for use for any specific external purpose. Opinions of people on quality of data can often be discordant, even when they discuss the same data set, used for the same purpose.
