Business model

DRP is intended for automatic installation of drivers (system programs for correct work of the application software with the equipment) under Windows XP, Vista and 7 (32 and 64 versions of OS). For this purpose at first it is necessary to download from the website and to write on a flash card and a DVD disk their collection on 2.8 GB. The program scans the equipment and independently defines what software from a collection it is necessary to set. The source code of the free program of Kuzyakov is open (extends according to the license GNU GPL). Development through the conclusion of partner agreements with vendors of software is commercialized. 'Except the DRP drivers suggests to install a number of application programs, - the author explains. - Entry into their number for developer companies is not free. I actively cooperate with Mail.ru which through my software receives daily one thousand Mail installations. Agent. Also partnership agreements are signed with 'Yandex', Google, Allsoft and Eset'.

Kuzyakov calls quantitative indices of popularity of the development: 1 million visits of the website monthly, the created core of users of software of 10 million people (first of all it is system administrators and the service centers). 'Now there is a problem of distribution of DRP among ordinary users who install software not on the mass of machines but only for themselves', - he says.

'Now (July, 2011) a share of DRP in Russia about 5% and a little more than 1% in the world, - he adds. - A task within a year to increase a share in Russia to 25%'.

• The author of popular software Artur Kuzyakov only in 2011 graduated from MIREA (The Moscow institute of radio engineering, electronics and automatic equipment). • In July, 2011 it became known that the author of a free collection of the DriverPack Solution (DRP) drivers Artur Kuzyakov will develop the project, hiring employees, but without attracting investors.

'The required staff of the company is a technical director with wide experience, two web developer, the application programmer, the system administrator for testing of products and support of servers, the marketing specialist, PR and the accountant, - Kuzyakov says. - Perhaps there will be advertizing experts, involvement of freelancers'^[1] is also probable^[1].

According to the author of the project support of such state will annually cost 8-10 million rubles. 'I refuse investments, but I look for the mentor who could help with scaling of the project: selection of a command, office and creation of a partner network', - Kuzyakov adds.
