History
2023: Senior Lecturer in the Department of Vocal Arts Maxim Pasteur dies
Opera singer Maxim Pasteur died on September 1, 2023. The artist was 47 years old. The cause of death is not named.
Tenor Maxim Pasteur was born in Kharkov on December 4, 1975. In 1994 he graduated from the choral conducting department of the Kharkov College of Music, and in 2003 - the vocal department of the Kharkov State Institute of Arts.
In 2002-03 - soloist of the Kharkov State Opera and Ballet Theater, in 2003 he made his debut at the Taras Shevchenko National Opera of Ukraine.
In 2003, the vocalist made his debut at the Bolshoi Theater as Bayan at the premiere of Glinka's opera Ruslan and Lyudmila, and was later accepted into the opera troupe.
Since 2013, Maxim Pasteur has taught at the Russian Institute of Theater Arts. Until now, he served as a senior lecturer in the department of vocal art.
