Hitachi Data Instance Director (HDID) implements complex approach to protection, recovery and preserving of data. 2018: Hitachi Data Instance Director v6.5

On May 16, 2018 Hitachi Vantara company, affiliated enterprise Hitachi, Ltd. submitted the next version of the platform for data recovery — Hitachi Data Instance Director (HDID) v6.5. It provides long-term storage and allows to reuse copies of data. Using modern technologies of replication and creation of instant pictures the HDID platform protects crucial databases and applications.

The version of the platform is aimed at satisfaction of customers needs, data management and backup specialists. She allows the organizations to use more effectively backup copies of the additional transactions given for support of a wide row, such as research of data, management of corporate data, ensuring normative and legal compliance, analyst, use of DevOps and many others.

HDID v6.5 include applications for data recovery which work with the help of technologies of protection, the flexible services of copying allowing to manage corporate data and to provide control of long-term storage and also to support possibilities of deep studying of data and analytics.

Solution HDID v6.5 places backup copies of file systems in HCP storage in a format of source files.
