Directions of business

Traditional products and network solutions SI2000/SI3000 allow to save quality of providing traditional telephony in the networks built based on the equipment and architecture, at least four generations: the electromechanical analog, digital, next generation (NGN) and, at last, IP multimedia – IMS. The installed base of the equipment Iskratel in Russia is more than 10 million ports (including TDM, NGN, xDSL, FTTx) that provides to us not only business opportunity, but also imposes high responsibility for maintenance of lifecycle, a possibility of providing modern communication services and hardware upgrades with the maximum preserving of investments.

The scalable line of a switching equipment of SI3000 providing solutions for villages, cities and regions this year was replenished with an economic product for the lower capacity niche: CCS – Compact Call Server. SI3000 is suitable also for creation of corporate networks, and for application on public service networks. Geographical reservation, centralized operation of Open MN are available to all equipment. The SIP server which is built in SI3000 CS allows not only to provide connection of IP subscribers, but also to economically organize full-function virtual office and production automatic telephone exchanges, including with a possibility of providing convergent audiovisual communication services together with mobile networks. Such approach allows the operator to work by activation of licenses of the existing objects in a SME/SOHO segment.

Iskratel continues technology development and we propose the full solution IMS constructed on the same hardware SI3000. The Iskratel company also provides a possibility of complete migration of all installed program switches based on SI3000 platform in the IMS elements, such as AGCF and MGCF – it is simple opening of the corresponding licenses softwares, or in the full-function solution IMS with the central switching of calls. The certificate on the solution SI3000 IMS is already received. In August, 2012 by request of the corporate center JSC Rostelecom SI3000 IMS in TsNIIS of Moscow are successfully tested, and based on testing at the German institute of open communications systems the solution SI3000 IMS received the status Full RCS supporting and VoLTE ready.

Iskratel traditionally is a partner of such big corporate customers as JSC Gazprom, JSC Svyaztransneft, JSC "Russian Railways", the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Russian Defense Ministry and others. In this segment special attention is paid to questions of ensuring business continuity in the course of upgrade of network due to full compatibility with the substituted equipment. The technology aspect of corporate communications found reflection in development of our solutions of a conference circuit on the South Stream project – the main gas pipeline which should pass under the Black Sea and connect Russia with the countries of Central and Southern Europe. Also on Russian Railway networks where developmental works together with Research and design institute of informatization, automation and communication on railway transport (JSC NIIAS) and the Central station of communication of the Russian Railway are conducted.

The most striking example – participation of IskraUralTel Ltd in the project of construction of a System of providing a call of the emergency operational services by uniform number 112 in Russia (system-112). In general on the System-112 project there is an active cooperation with regions, in the current year we carry successfully out about 10 pilot zones across all Russia: from Krasnodar Krai to Eastern Siberia and the Northwest.

It is important to emphasize cooperation in this project with JSC Rostelecom – the solution Iskratel is jointly tested in Kemerovo and Chelyabinsk using a national cloud platform of the operator. It means that in addition to the traditional concept of creation of a system-112, our solution can be implemented also on a cloud platform.

Knowledge of public and corporate communication networks in total with skills of deep integration of products of the company into automation systems, monitoring and management of technology processes in the most different industries allow us to develop the direction of system integration. At this stage of development of group we see the application of this activity in the projects focused on a segment of public administration such as informatization of departmental services on duty and dispatching, "the safe city", "the smart city" and others.
