Resident of ANO "Telecommunications Technologies "

On July 30, 2020, IskraUralTEL, a Russian manufacturer of high-tech integrated solutions for telecom operators, the transport industry, public safety, and the fuel and energy complex, joined the consortium of ANO Telecommunications Technologies (ANO TT), formed by the state corporation Rostec, PJSC Rostelecom and the group of companies Element.

"Our own equipment production, software development center, round-the-clock technical support, training and repair and logistics centers in Moscow and Yekaterinburg allow us to develop and produce innovative solutions and equipment, participate in the development of the domestic telecommunications market," said Vladislav Davydov, General Director of IskraUralTEL JSC.

In accordance with the strategy of the radio-electronic industry, the model of industry consortia as a tool to support domestic manufacturers is aimed at forming an ecosystem that includes Russian organizations in the development, production and use of telecommunication equipment and components for it, including an electronic component base, research activities and educational activities in the field of developing the personnel potential of highly qualified specialists.

The status of a resident makes it possible to establish the necessary production ties, attract funding and state support for the launch of Russian-made telecommunications products on the market.

Agreement with Micron on the use of microcircuits and modules for telecommunication equipment

Mikron, a Russian manufacturer and exporter of microelectronics, and the domestic manufacturer of integrated telecommunications solutions IskraUralTEL signed a cooperation agreement providing for the use of Russian-made microcircuits in telecommunications equipment for the purpose of import substitution of ECB. This was announced on June 18, 2020 by Micron.

The telecommunications industry is a large consumer of ECB, releasing products in this segment, we understand that they will be provided with demand in the medium term, - said Gulnara Khasyanova, General Director of PJSC Micron. - As of June 2020, the share of foreign microelectronics for telecommunications exceeds 92%, it is impossible to replace it at once, but our cooperation with IskraUralTEL is an important step towards creating domestic solutions in a critical industry.

Our telecommunications solutions work in the infrastructure critical for the life of the country, therefore, to ensure the safety and import independence of our products is strategically important, - said Vladislav Davydov, General Director of IskraUralTEL JSC. - The use of domestic ECB will allow us not only to reduce dependence on imports, but also guarantees the absence of undeclared opportunities. We have already begun testing microcircuits manufactured by PJSC Micron to determine the possibility of their use in our serial products.

Under the terms of the agreement, the companies jointly determine the list of electronic component base and critical electronic modules for use in IskraUralTEL telecommunication equipment for import substitution.

The domestic component base is the basis of technological independence information security and the country in the context of digital transformation economies and society.
