Moscow State University of instrument making and information science (MGUPI)

Moscow State University of instrument making and information science is one of universities of the Russian Federation in the field of complex security and special instrument making, data protection and security of computer systems, economic and legal support of national security, law-enforcement activity, law, the industry of high technologies: nano - and microsystem technology, robotics and mechatronics, artificial intelligence and mathematical modeling of difficult processes, objects and complexes, industry economy and management of the knowledge-intensive industrial enterprises.

MGUPI performs activity on the basis of the license of November 02, 2011 No. 2120 existing is termless also certificates on the state accreditation of May 31, 2013 No. 0643.

The order of the Ministry of Education and Science No. 646 of 6/9/2014 based on MGUPI, MIREA and IPK creates the new leading educational scientific center Moscow State University of information technologies of Russia, radio engineering and electronics having the developed educational and laboratory and research base, the wide range of specialties, the directions of training of students and specializations having the highly skilled faculty.

MGUPI is:

• more than 14 thousand students, more than 400 graduate students and doctoral candidates;
• 700 teachers, from which 120 doctors of science, 390 candidates of science;
• 33% of regular teachers aged up to 45 years;
• wide range of specialties and directions of training;
• modern scientific and education centers and the innovation laboratories;
• all levels of training of professional education;
• all forms of education.

In MGUPI the principles of life-long education widely are implemented. Functions courses of preparation and free physical and mathematical school for seniors, faculties of secondary professional education, advanced training and retraining of personnel.

As a part of the university 4 institutes, 5 faculties, more than 40 departments and 10 branches located in the Moscow, Tver, Yaroslavl regions and in Stavropol Krai.
