Together with development of "cloud" services for business interest in them grows also from private consumers. However, in this user group not all unambiguously imagine – that such "cloud".

According to survey of GfK Business and Technology conducted among 1000 adults of what is "cloud services" have an idea of nearly 50% of consumers while only 9% rather fully know it. Other research firm - IMS Research, reported recently that "cloud" services will be demanded. The expected growth of connection of devices – up to 22 billion units within the next decade, and it will be an incentive of demand for them.

Consumers will look for such services which provide data exchange with different devices, including notebooks, mobile phones and tablets. As deployment of data networks 4G, as expected, will happen within the next year, consumers will have data access from any devices connected by them.

Rob Barrish, the senior vice president of GfK Business & Technology company noted: "Consumers face problems which the enterprises in need of safe management of large volumes of data, only once face. At deployment of cloud services marketing specialists should know - consumers want to have the accessibility to content from devices on different platforms".

About 60% of users at the age of 18-35 years and about 25% - are more senior than 50 years, are interested in transfer of the data in "cloud". At the same time about 61% are anxious with safety of the content if they decide to store it in a cloud.

47% of consumers will never use "cloud" services if they have an easy and convenient way of data storage, and 39% say that they are disturbed by correctness of reproduction of "cloud" contents on different devices. This statistics indicates, in particular, the need of bigger compatibility and availability of different devices to content as the same information can be obtained from several devices.

Safe data storage in "cloud" – a factor of the greatest concern in all polled age groupes. "There is a need for increase in level of education concerning clouds that users passed from a common understanding of this technology to its active use", Rob Barrish told. In November, 2010, analytical company 451 Market Monitor reported that it expects growth of profitability of the market of "cloud" calculations to $16.7 billion in 2013 with $8.7 billion in 2010, noting cumulative annual growth rate to 24%.
