World costs in the market of semiconductors will decrease up to the middle of 2012 and the cause is – deceleration of rates of macroeconomic. However in 2013 they should grow more, than by 18%.

World capital costs of semiconductors, according to forecasts of Gartner, in 2012 will make $35.2 billion that is 19.2% lower than an indicator of 2011 - $43.5 billion. The main reason of falling of the market – deceleration of macroeconomic processes.

According to Claus Rinnen (Klaus Rinnen), the managing vice president of Gartner, decrease in volumes will be observed in all subsegments of the market. And though the race in a format of 28 nanometers (nanometer) will be continued, costs for 45-90 nanometers of technology will be reduced. For example, it will happen because of smaller, than it was expected earlier, increase in production of tablets and other devices.

According to the data of Gartner provided in the table in 2012 recession will affect one and all segments, and in 2013 any of them without awaking to develop signed minus. Though in 2014-2015 on a number of segments there can already be insignificant fluctuations towards lowering.

According to forecasts of Gartner, recession in the market of semiconductors will occupy all rest of this year and the first half of the year of the following. Then demand and supply will be balanced owing to stabilization of economy. In 2013 growth of capital costs of semiconductors by 18.4% is expected. In 2014 – growth by 2.4%, and in 2015 – new recession, but not such sharp as in 2012 (5.1%).
