In 2004, Andrei Chernyavsky graduated from the Military University of Military Air Defense of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the direction of "Radio Engineering," in 2020 - master's degree from St. Petersburg University of Economics with a degree in "Management."

2014
Andrei Chernyavsky has been working in the radio electronics industry since 2014, he has gone from deputy head of production to executive director of RRZ-RUSAudio JSC.
2025: Appointment as General Director of Yaroslavl Radio Plant
In July 2025, Andrei Chernyavsky was appointed the new general director of the Yaroslavl Radio Plant (YARZ, part of the Russian Space Systems holding of the Roscosmos state corporation). He replaced Alexander Sashov, who headed the enterprise since June 2023. Sashov's new place of work is not disclosed.
The Yaroslavl Radio Plant, headed by Andrei Chernyavsky, is one of the oldest and key enterprises in the Russian radio-electronic industry. The plant produces radio stations of various classes, satellite communication equipment, as well as complexes and systems of radio reconnaissance, radio monitoring and radio cancellation (EW). In addition, classified communication equipment is produced here to protect the transmitted information.
In addition to defense products, YARZ produces goods for the civilian market. This includes medical equipment, in particular, the production of X-ray machines, industrial electronics for control systems, as well as telemetry equipment for monitoring in power and housing and communal services.[1]
