Biography
Marina Alekseeva graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University. Has the master's degree in the field of mathematics.
Started the career in the Russian Federal Nuclear Center software developer.
From 1996 to 2000 it worked as the project manager in the software Nizhny Novgorod laboratory of NSTLab company where headed development team and the testers who were engaged in creation of algorithms and code optimization for image understanding.
After Intel purchased NSTLab in 2000, Marina Alekseeva joined a command of Intel in the Nizhny Novgorod department of the company in group of the software and services.
In 2007 Alekseeva was appointed to the position of the director of global service of productization, the multinational multifunction command which is responsible for a final stage of software development of Intel and release on the market according to standards of corporation.
In 2015 Marina Alekseeva became the CEO on research and development of Intel in Russia.
Is also the director of service of productization of Intel corporation.
In 2017 it was appointed the vice president of division of Intel Software and Services Group.
In the conditions of the new strategy of corporation the main objective in a new role of Alekseev sees maintenance of the status Russian R&D division as the center of world-class examination in such directions as creation of multinuclear architecture, parallel computings, development of profilers, work with multimedia, computer vision and machine learning.
Important elements of presence of Intel in Russia it considers the academic program and work with the leading universities. Paying special attention to support of specialists female in IT, Marina is included into council of the program of Intel for development of leaders in EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) and also in the structure of the management of the international Women in Big Data program.
In January, 2020 Intel reported that Marina Alekseeva leaves the company, explaining it with her desire to devote more time to family and personal projects. As the CEO on a research and to developments of Intel in Russia Alekseev was replaced by Ivan Kuzmin.
