Biography

Graduated from law department of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (Germany) and has the diploma of MBA of Makdono business school at Georgetown University (Washington, the District of Columbia, the USA).

Alex Furst started the career in Symbol Technologies and Siemens companies.

Worked as the director of world sales of corporate solutions for mobile devices in Motorola telecommunication company, and then - held a position of the chief executive and head of sales department across Austria and Switzerland in Avaya company.

Since October, 2012 Austria, Switzerland is the chief representative of Acronis Germany GmbH in the region Germany.

The general manager of Acronis in Europe

Since September, 2014 - the vice president and the general manager of Acronis in Europe. In a new role Alex Furst will be responsible for channel and direct sales across the whole Europe and also to supervise and manage strategy, growth and expansion in this region.
