2025: Recovery of 4.5 billion rubles

On August 6, 2025, the Moscow Arbitration Court recovered 4.5 billion rubles from the former owner of the Angara insurance company, Alexander Kondratenkov. The grounds for making this decision were various operations for the withdrawal of liquid assets.

Kondratenkov was the beneficiary of six insurance companies: LLC SK Angara, JSC SK Opora, LLC SK Vector, LLC SK Trudstrakh, LLC SK RESPECT , JSC NASKO. In particular, Angara has been operating since 1992 in the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Buryatia. It offered voluntary insurance services, including property , transport, cargo, professional and civil liability insurance, accident insurance, voluntary health insurance, and compulsory civil liability insurance for vehicle owners.

The court recovered 4.5 billion rubles from the ex-owner of the Angara insurance company

Licenses for insurance activities from all listed companies were revoked from 2017 to 2019. This was due to a violation of the provisions of the law on insurance and the procedure for investing insurance reserves and own funds. These firms were declared bankrupt, and the state corporation Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) was appointed bankruptcy trustee.

Earlier, the court, at the request of the DIA, brought Kondratenkov to subsidiary liability for the obligations of SK Vector LLC, the potential amount of which is 200 million rubles. In addition, losses were recovered from him in favor of SK Opora JSC and NASKO JSC in the total amount of 2.9 billion rubles. The court also included in the register of creditors' claims a statement by SK Opora JSC against Kondratenkov in the amount of over 1.3 billion rubles. The defendant himself was declared bankrupt - a procedure for the sale of property was introduced against him[1]
