Career
1991-2010
Since 1991, he worked in the structures of Menatep-Invest JSC, after which he specialized in financial services and consulting. At various times, he worked at the investment company Finpoint Advisors, headed the corporate finance department of Orgresbank AB (Nordea Bank OJSC, closed in 2021), and in the 2010s he was chairman of the board of directors of Udmurt Bystrobank, then led one of the major suppliers of IT solutions for ministries, government agencies and the capital's mayor's office of DPI-Projects LLC.
2023: Appointment as head of NIPK "Electron"
In July 2023, a new head of the manufacturer of X-ray and ultrasound scanners NIPK "Electron" was appointed - he became Alexey Kartavtsev. The relevant information is reflected in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRUL).
Kartavtsev replaced Alexander Elinson, who in the summer of 2022 was put on the wanted list under an unnamed article of the Criminal Code. Details of the case were not disclosed. The company itself claimed that Elinson was being treated abroad, and that getting into the search base was called a technical error. As of July 2023, the entrepreneur is still listed in the wanted list of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As of July 2023, Alexei Kartavtsev, according to the SPARK-Interfax system, owns a 1% stake in the Moscow company Logistics Partners and a 31.8% stake in the St. Petersburg food operator Fresh Point.
NIPK "Electron" is one of the Russian manufacturers of diagnostic equipment, including X-ray machines, ultrasound and tomographs. The company's medical equipment is included in the protectionist list of Russian electronic products, which allows you to apply the "second extra" rule on state orders and receive priority when supplying medical equipment to state medical institutions.
