Ames Richard

Biography

Richard Ames received degree of the bachelor of geology (University Dyyuk, USA) and degree of the master of geology (the University of Georgia, the USA).

In the eighties he held different positions in the field of investigation, production and performed managerial functions in the USA and other countries, working in New Orleans, Houston and the Hague.

In 1990 Richard Ames was sent to Russia and the countries of the former Soviet Union for assessment of opportunities of exploration and production on the Yamal Peninsula, in Western Siberia and the Caspian Sea. From 1994 to 1997 Ames worked in Moscow, executing obligations for business development and project portfolio management of the Exploration and production block of Amoko company.

After return to Houston in 1997 Richard Ames was appointed to the vice president's post "by Amoko Eurasia Petroleum Company" where he directed projects of the Exploration and production block of Amoko company in Russia and Kazakhstan.

After merge of BP and Amoko Ames held a position of the director of information technology in BP Alaska and Direkdora on IT project management of all branches of BP company. In 2002 Richard Ames returned to Moscow as the vice president for IT of Sidanko company. After the end of integration of multinational corporation, Sidanko and BP he held a post of the vice president for management of IT of TNK-BP company in 2003. Left this post in 2011.
