2024: Death in an avalanche in the Murmansk region

During an avalanche in the Murmansk region on January 8, 2024, the founder of the computer equipment supplier NBCom Group Andrei Godunov was killed.

According to the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Murmansk Region, the incident occurred in the area of ​ ​ the Ramzaya Gorge of the Khibina mountain range. A group of tourists who were not registered with the Ministry of Emergency Situations moved on snowmobiles and fell into an avalanche, killing two residents of St. Petersburg born in 1975 and 1969. According to RBC, Godunov's assets as of 2022 were estimated at 1.8 billion rubles. According to some reports, Godunov's fortune in 2023 was estimated at 3.5 billion rubles. Some experts interviewed by Kommersant argue that the real price of the business is much lower, since the parent company Enbikom Group may be unprofitable.

According to the financial statements, a profit of just over 7 million rubles was received for the last time in 2019, and since 2020 the company has been recording negative indicators: for profit for 2022 - minus 7.1 million rubles.
