Education
He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of the Independent Ecological and Political Science University in Moscow, as well as a master's degree from the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation with a degree in political science.
Career
1991
Since 1991 he worked on television. He was his own correspondent for the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company for Central Asia, covered the work of the State Duma, was a member of the Kremlin pool, and led the Vesti and Vesti Nedeli programs.
2018
In 2018, he became the first deputy general director of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. In this position, he oversaw the information direction of the holding.

2023: Appointment as CEO of TASS
On July 5, 2023, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order appointing Andrei Kondrashov as the new general director of the TASS news agency instead of Sergei Mikhailov, who, according to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, was relieved of his post of his own free will.
Andrei Kondrashov is the author of the documentaries "Crimea. Path to the Homeland "(2015)," Valaam "(2018)," Putin "(2018)," Wall "(2020) and others.
Since 2022, Kondrashov has been under Canadian sanctions, since June 2023 - under EU sanctions, Forbes notes in a publication dated July 5, 2023.
Sergei Mikhailov headed TASS in 2012. In the 1990s, he was one of the founders and partner of the Mikhailov & Partners PR agency. Later he became an adviser to the president and a member of the board of Russian Railways, the head of the company's corporate communications department.[1]
Awards
Andrei Kondrashov was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, IV degree (2023), medals of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, I and II degrees (2006, 2000). Noted by the gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation (2008).
Andrei Kondrashov is a laureate of the TEFI Prize in the nomination "Host of Information Programs" and a special prize "For Reflecting History." He has state awards, including for work in hot spots and coverage of events in Crimea.
