1991-2022

The history of the U Palych brand, which was founded by Andrei Suldin, dates back to 1991, when Suldin opened a small cafe in the Samara House of Culture Sovremennik. In 1996, on the basis of this institution, the Samara food factory "U Palych" was created, specializing in the production of dumplings and dumplings. A year later, the assortment of the enterprise was replenished with cakes and other confectionery products.

The brand went beyond Samara in 1998, when the products of U Palych appeared on the Moscow market. In the capital, Suldin opened its own sales office and confectionery shop, which made it possible to significantly expand the geography of the company's presence.

According to the system, SPARK Suldin served as director of the company from October 2002 to the end of December 2006. After leaving the leadership post, he retained a stake in 25% of the enterprise. 2025: Death

On May 14, 2025, at the 57th year of his life, Andrei Suldin, the founder of the famous Russian confectionery brand U Palych, died. This was reported by the press service of the company, expressing deep condolences to the family and friends of the entrepreneur.

The reasons for the death of the businessman were not disclosed. Farewell to the entrepreneur will take place on May 15 in his hometown, in Samara.

By 2025, the U Palych chain of branded stores has grown to 400 points of sale of various formats. Products under this brand, numbering almost 1.5 thousand items, are sold in 15 thousand stores of the largest retailers in Russia.
