Biography

Born in 1954 in Chelyabinsk, Russia.

Career

1988 - created the cooperative Energia together with partner Alexander Aristov (sausage production).

1995 - founded the Ariant holding with Alexander Aristov.

2000 - founded the Krasnogorsk Pig Complex together with Alexander Aristov, having bought 99, 9% of the shares from its employees.

August 2004 - Chairman of the Board of Directors of TsPI Ariant[3]

September 2011 - Together with Alexander and Elena Kretov and Lyudmila Aristova established the Southern Viticulture Company (SMC). In October 2011, Yuri Antipov and the Kretovs sold their shares to the Yuzhnaya agricultural company[4]

2024: Recovery of 105 billion rubles by the court

On April 5, 2024, the Arbitration Court of the Chelyabinsk Region satisfied the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation against the former owners of the Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Plant (CHEMK) industrial group Yuri Antipov and Alexander Aristov. 105 billion rubles of unjust enrichment were recovered from the defendants. The owner of the most expensive German manual car Maybach in the Chelyabinsk region (almost 800 thousand euros).

Compared to the previous Forbes rating "The Richest Businessmen of Russia - 2011" in 2012, he dropped by 20 positions, and his fortune decreased by $100 million[5].
