Biography
2024: Net worth - $1 billion
In September 2024, it became known that the older children of Leonid Fedun, co-owner of the Lukoil oil company, Anton and Ekaterina Fedun, were among the billionaires thanks to the company's shares transferred to them. Earlier, Leonid Fedun donated about 2% of Lukoil's shares to his son and daughter, which allowed them to significantly increase their fortune in a few years.
It clarifies that in Forbes November 2018, Leonid Fedun transferred 4.57 million shares and 12.46 million depositary receipts for Lukoil shares to his eldest children. The market value of this package at that time exceeded ₽84 billion. As a result of rising stock prices and subsequent dividend payments, the capital of Anton and Ekaterina Fedunov today is about $1 billion for each.
Since 2019, Lukoil has paid almost ₽61 billion pre-tax dividends on shares transferred to children. By the beginning of September 2024, the value of a block of shares on the Moscow Exchange reached ₽108 billion, which significantly increased the fortune of Anton and Catherine.
Anton Fedun, born in 1985, is a successful hotelier and restaurateur in London. He graduated from the University of Surrey with a degree in Management and Tourism and Regents Business School. Anton manages the family investment fund, where dividends received from Lukoil are invested. It operates two luxury hotels - the Vintry & Mercer, which opened in 2019, and The Ampersand Hotel, which has been operating since 2012, as well as five restaurants.
Born in 1988, Ekaterina Fedun was educated at MGIMO and Regents Business School. In 2014, she married Johan Geraskin, who at that time served as technical director of the Spartak football club. In marriage, the couple had two children - a daughter and a son. Unlike her brother, Catherine devotes most of her time to her family and raising children.[1]
