2024: Appointment as CEO of Roskino
At the end of January 2024, Elsa Antonova was appointed General Director of Roskino, a state organization representing the Russian audiovisual content industry in international markets. Previously, she headed the organizational department of the Cinema Foundation.
Prior to Antonova, Roskino was headed by Ekaterina Naumova as acting general director. She took this post after the resignation of the previous head Inna Shalyto.
Roskino, among other things, promotes Russian content at the international film market and at various events in the film industry under the Russian Content Worldwide brand and organizes Russian film festivals abroad under the Russian Film Festival (RFF) brand. Roskino is the successor of the Sovexportfilm organization[1]
