Born May 11, 1966 in Achkhoy-Martan, Chechnya[3].

Education

1991 - graduated from the Grozny Oil Institute. Academician Millionshchikov with a degree in Chemical Technology for Oil and Gas Processing.

Career

1992-1997 - Process Engineer, Manager, Director of the Department of the Moscow Representative Office of Lia Oil (Switzerland), and then President of the Lia Oil Group of Companies (CIS).

1998 - after the creation of Alliance Group OJSC, he headed the subsidiary of the holding - Alliance-Oil CJSC.

2000 - President of JSC Alliance Group.

2001 - Chairman of the Board of Directors of NK Alliance.

2003 - Together with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Sergey Kunitsyn opened a network of new gas stations on the peninsula[4].

2004 - signed an agreement with Samsung Co to implement a project to modernize the Khabarovsk Oil Refinery (KhNPZ)[5]

2007 - signed an agreement on the creation of a joint venture with Shell, to which he transferred one of the largest gas station networks in Ukraine[6].

Musa Bazhaev, who was included in the Western sanctions lists after the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine, handed over the luxurious Forte Village resort to his relative in February 2022, a day after the start of Russia's special operation, FT wrote. The resort is a favorite holiday destination for celebrities and travelers.

The ownership of the resort, whose parent company owns various assets in Sardinia totaling about 700 million euros, was transferred to Kazakh businessman Shukhrat Ibragimov in early 2023.
