2024: Arrest on bribery charges

On October 2, 2024, the Leninsky District Court of Novosibirsk detained the regime and personnel director of the military-industrial complex Vasily Belendir. He is charged under Part 8 of Art. 204 of the Criminal Code - commercial bribery on an especially large scale. Such acts are punishable by imprisonment for up to 12 years.

According to TASS, we are talking about an employee of the Luch scientific and production association (NPO), which is engaged in the production of weapons and ammunition, missile control systems, etc. The branch of the enterprise is located in the Leninsky district of Novosibirsk.

According to investigators, in the period from January 2023 to September 2024, Belendir, through an intermediary, received money for committing actions in the interests of entrepreneurs. He assisted in concluding a contract within the framework of a state contract for a defense order and a lease agreement for premises. The total amount of commercial bribery amounted to 2,440,000 rubles.
