Biography

Valery Nadirovich Biktashev is a Russian composer, born on December 15, 1963 in the village of Tokarevka (Republic of Tatarstan). At the age of 11, he began to study music. He graduated from the Temirtaus College of Music (Kazakhstan) as a pianist. As a student at a music school, he became a laureate of the 1st prize of the piano competition of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Subsequently, he graduated from the Russian Academy of Music. Gnesins (Moscow) as a pianist, and then as a composer. After graduation, V.N. Biktashev worked as an accompanist in the vocal class at the Gnesinsky School, the Russian Academy of Music named after Gnesins, Institute of Contemporary Art, Choral Academy named after Sveshnikov, Moscow State Institute of Music named after Schnittke. And it was with vocal music that Valery Biktashev began his career as a composer.

By order of guitarist Dmitry Tatarkin and in collaboration with him began to write for the guitar. These are primarily 3 guitar concerts:

  • "Roman is a fantasy" (for guitar with a chamber orchestra),
  • "Love Story" (with symphony orchestra),
  • "Concerto - Ballad" (with organ), and
  • the poem "Orpheus" and the cycle "Confessions" (for 1st, 2nd and 4th guitars).

Since 2002, collaborates with the orchestra of Russian folk instruments under the direction of N.N. Nekrasov. Vocal and instrumental music Valery Biktashev repeatedly sounded on the radio on the waves "Orpheus" and "People's Radio."

  • "Divination" - a duet with the words of A. Fet

  • "Little Prince" (according to Exuperi)
  • "The Living Dead" (according to Odoevsky's short story)
