1991-1995

In 1991 Vladimir Christoff became the CEO of the Susuman mining and processing works. In 1995 Christoff took part in privatization of plant, having created holding which head company was JSC Susumanzoloto on its base.

2020: Death from a coronavirus

On December 24, 2020 Vladimir Christoff died at the age of 71 year. The owner of one of the largest gold mining companies in Russia Susumanzoloto in Moscow in infectious hospital "Kommunarka" from the complications connected with infection with COVID-19 coronavirus reports the Magadanskaya Pravda edition with reference to the CEO of HPAO "Susumanzoloto" Alexander Chugunov.

Christoff worked nearly 40 years at the gold mining enterprises of the Magadan region where there passed the way from the assistant driver of the excavator to the first director, the chairman of the board of directors.
