2020: Death from COVID-19 coronavirus

On July 22, 2020 it became known of Dmitry Degtyaryov's death. the 43-year-old minister of agro-industrial complex and consumer market of Sverdlovsk region died from the complications caused by infection with COVID-19 coronavirus.

As the governor of the region Evgeny Kuyvashev wrote on the page to Instagram, doctors made all that they could, but could not save Degtyaryov. Recently it was in resuscitation on IVL, the governor added.^[1]

He devoted all life to development of agriculture. Colleagues respected and appreciated it quick and understanding mind, openness to the new progressive ideas, adherence to principles, courage in project implementation of the innovative development of regional agriculture, keenness and responsiveness to people — Kuyvashev told.

According to him, the coronavirus at Degtyaryov was revealed a few weeks ago. According to E1.ru, the minister spent more than a week to resuscitation. The edition source familiar with a situation says that the disease in Degtyaryov was detected in time, and the first days he was treated at home, on an outpatient basis, but at some point its status began to worsen sharply.

On it tried all methods of treatment of a coronavirus, including those which are used and practice only in Moscow: to it cleaned blood, used medicamentous therapy by recently arrived medicines but to any therapy the organism did not react. Doctors say that at the minister lungs just burned down, death came from respiratory insufficiency — the interlocutor of e1.ru told.

According to him, Degtyarev's treatment was supervised personally by the chief physician of hospital No. 40 Alexander Prudkov and the manager of infectious resuscitation Dmitry Belsky. They did everything possible.
