Evgeny Demin was born on October 15, 1979.

Education

In 2003 he graduated from Khabarovsk State Technical University with a degree in Management and Informatics in Technical Systems.

Career

2002-2008

He began his career in 2002 as an assistant vice-rector for youth work at Khabarovsk State Technical University.

From 2006 to 2007 - Deputy Vice-Rector for Extracurricular and Social Affairs of Khabarovsk State Technical University.

From 2007 to 2008 - Deputy Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Affairs of the Khabarovsk State Technical University.

2008-2012

From 2008 to 2011 - Head of the Department of Organizational and Cultural and Mass Work of the Department for Educational and Extracurricular Work with Students of the Khabarovsk State Technical University.

From 2011 to 2012 - Head of the Department for Work with Children and Youth of the Department for Social Affairs of the Administration of Khabarovsk.

2012-2019

From 2012 to 2017 - Head of the Department for Youth Affairs and Social Affairs of the Administration of Khabarovsk.

Since June 2017 - Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy of the Government of the Khabarovsk Territory.

Since November 2019 - First Deputy Minister of Social Protection of the Population of the Khabarovsk Territory.

2024: Appointment as Head of the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Khabarovsk Territory

In August 2024, Yevgeny Demin was appointed head of the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Khabarovsk Territory instead of Alexei Gusev, who wrote an application for dismissal of his own free will.

Gusev headed the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Khabarovsk Territory since the reorganization of the department, worked on the development of the region's digital infrastructure and the introduction of new technologies into public life.^[1]
