Dmitry Borisovich Bosov is a president and the main owner of the Alltek group, the board member of JSC KrAZ, the head of the Moscow representative office of Trans World Commodities.

Assets

In addition to VostokUgol in 2020 the businessman possessed the company of direct investments of Alltek. It in turn controlled, the largest Russian producer of metallurgical Sibantratsit coals and also the Moscow center of architecture and design of Artplay.

Biography

Altai Krai, Russia was born in 1968 in Barnaul.

1991 - graduated from faculty of radio electronics and a laser technology of MSTU of Bauman. Candidate of Economic Sciences.

Earned 5 million rubles from resale of two cars of mustard plasters. Spent money for the Moskvich-2141 car and two-room apartment.

The 1990th - the shareholder of Krasnoyarsk Aluminium Smelter together with Boris Ivanishvili and Vasily Anisimov^[4].

2015: Participation in the transaction on purchase of the Vedomosti newspaper

2015 Demyan Kudryavtsev bought in 2015 the Vedomosti newspaper not on the money. As later, in 2019, reported Telegram channels, the transaction was financed by the owner of the Sibantratsit group Dmitry Bosov - the good acquaintance of Igor Sechin. In the market, allegedly, there was an opinion that at the request of Sechin Bosov also financed purchase of Vedomosti. Having redeemed a debt of Vedomosti in 27 million euros, Bosov-Kudryavtsev, allegedly, renewed it on one of structures of Rosneft.

2018: Investments into the producer of marijuana into the USA and purchase of the house in California

At the beginning of 2018 the authorities of California legalized the use of marijuana in recreational (i.e. not connected with medical indications) the purposes. After that, as affirms as the claim, Dmitry Bosov who periodically was in the USA on business matters decided to be engaged in the business connected with cannabis. Gebriel Bord and Arie Steygler's two Californian entrepreneurs of the 2018th convinced in the fall the Russian businessman to invest in the structure working at the market of legal marijuana which will become known as Genius Fund Group later.

Bosses were not a passive investor — from fall of 2018 to May of the 2019th he lived in the USA and participated in daily company management. In the place of business the billionaire purchased the house in Beverly Hills for $30 million (media reported this acquisition at the beginning of the 2020th).

Mentioning in connection with Mikhail Abyzov's arrest

In March, 2019 the ex-minister of the Government RossiiMihail Abyzov was arrested when he, allegedly, arrived for birthday of Dmitry Bosov which was 51 years old.

Telegram channels was reported that Bosov invited to a holiday all "hockey team": Vorobyova, Timchenko, Dyumina and td.

Dmitry Bosov allegedly was interested at familiar security officers whether there are claims to Abyzov and acted as the guarantor of his visit of Russia.

Cancellation of the visa to the USA, polls of FBI

In April of the 2019th, according to information in the claim, the American visas of Bosov and his spouse were cancelled, and since then the right of entry into the USA was not granted to them. Later the claimant on the case of the business connected with marijuana without specifying information source, claimed that concerning Bosov the U.S. authorities several times conducted investigations, he at least was polled by the staff of State Department and FBI three times, and in the fall of the 2019th federal agents talked to it in Rome several hours.

The claim in the USA from producer of marijuana

On April 24, 2020 a claim to the owner Dmitry Bosov was submitted to court of Central federal district of California in Los Angeles. As codefendants in the claim the American citizen Gary (Igor) Shinder, more than ten companies registered in the USA, the Cyprian Goldhawk Investments Ltd and the Russian Alltek group which merges Bosov's assets in Russia act. The claimant is Francis Rachoppi, the veteran of special troops of the USA and the former CEO of structure of Genius Fund Group working at the market of legal marijuana — accuses Bosov of civil conspiracy (civil conspiracy), a number of violations of the labor law of the USA and demands from it and other codefendants more than $1 million.

The contract Rachoppi as the CEO of Genius Fund Group was calculated till December, 2021. As Rachoppi considers that it was fired without the proper reason, he demands from Bosov and other codefendants to pay to it totally $1.35 million — this amount consists of his salary and bonuses.

According to the claimant, Bosov through the structures belonging to him — the Alltek group and the Cyprian Goldhawk Investments Ltd — invested more than $160 million in the different companies which were included into Genius Fund Group. "Through extensive network of the dummy companies Bosov managed, financed and controlled activity of Genius Fund Group" — affirms as the claim to Bosov. "hid bosses and distorted true owners of Genius Fund Group" though actually was "alter ego" of this company, and the network of the companies laying was created to avoid any responsibility, the document says.

Even after the businessman left the USA, he continued to invest in Genius Fund Group and to control key solutions in the company. Besides, under licenses for cultivation and sale of marijuana which were obtained by the company there is a signature of the billionaire, it is specified in the claim.

From company funds also maintenance costs of the house of Bosov in Beverly Hills were allegedly financed, for the businessman surfboards, sound recording devices and the Gita robot porter which were delivered to it to Russia and Italy were purchased.

Dmitry Bosov's representative told Forbes that the facts given in the claim are not true, and the claim is the conflict of management when changing commands.

Suicide

On May 6, 2020 it became known of Dmitry Bosov's death. the 52-year-old Russian billionaire committed suicide, RBC with reference to two of his acquaintances reports.

According to an edition source in law enforcement agencies, in the night of May 6 the police left on the call connected with suicide in the settlement of Usovo situated near Moscow where there lived Dmitry Bosov. The interlocutor of RBC told that the president of the Alltek group committed suicide this night.

The representative of the Main Investigation Department of SK on the Moscow region Olga Vrady reported to TASS that the investigator in Odintsovo situated near Moscow began check upon the death of the 52-year-old local.

On May 6 his body with a gunshot wound of the head is found by relatives in the territory of a household in the village of Usovo. Near a body of the man the Glock 19 gen 4 gun lay" — reported Vrady, without having told the name of the dead.

The Alltek company did not begin to give comments about the death of the CEO Dmitry Bosov.

By May 6, 2020 the Forbes magazine estimates Dmitry Bosov's fortune in $1.1 billion. In the rating of the richest people in 2020 according to the edition the billionaire was located on the 86th position.

RBC reminds that at the beginning of April, 2020 Bosov fired the business partner on Vostokugol companies and the board member of Sibantratsit Alexander Isaev. As a reason for leaving in Sibantratsita and Vostokugol called "flagrant abuses and plunders on the sections of works entrusted to it, distribution of unreliable information". It became known is later that Isaev also lost a share in Vostokugol. After that he submitted a claim for protection of a goodwill against Bosov's companies.^[7]

After May 12, 2020 the investigation of case of death of the Russian billionaire Dmitry Bosov called two versions of the event: suicide and careless handling of weapon.

It agrees one of versions Bosov could commit suicide, the source, close to one of the companies of the billionaire, told that since the beginning of 2020 the businessman "was on a platoon", he fired employees and transferred all assets on himself.

Bosov's relatives told that recently he constantly carried with himself a prize gun. The billionaire was afraid of growth of crime and assumed that he should shoot back criminals. Besides, it was reported that Bosov had financial problems, he did not fulfill certain obligations to large players of the market.
