Biography

2025: Sentence - 5 years in prison for embezzlement of 800 million rubles

On November 5, 2025, the Simonovsky District Court of Moscow completed consideration of the criminal case against former high-ranking officials of Zlatkombank. For large-scale fraud, the total damage from which is estimated at more than 803 million rubles, the ex-head of the board of Zlatcombank Dmitry Alalykin and the ultimate beneficiary Leon Vvedensky received five years in a general regime correctional colony.

According to Kommersant, the investigation found that a group of senior bank employees systematically engaged in fraud from June to December 2018. The scheme consisted of issuing deliberately bad loans, embezzlement of funds and securities. Credit funds were issued on the security of expensive real estate, which allowed the bank to avoid increased reserves in the Central Bank and created the appearance of secured loans.

According to correspondents, Kommersant the criminal investigation was initiated on December 11, 2018, just days before the license was revoked from Zlatcombank. The regulator found signs of illegal withdrawal of liquid funds in the activities of the institution. The total amount of Zlatcombank's debt to depositors exceeded a billion rubles.

Former top managers of this credit institution, Maria Tretyakova and Valeria Sattarova, received suspended sentences of four and three and a half years, respectively.

Kommersant also reports that in the framework of the same case, the ex-beneficiary of the bank Alexander Rodimov was previously convicted. He entered into a cooperation agreement with law enforcement agencies. His testimony contributed to uncovering the criminal scheme and exposing other participants, according to court filings. In January 2025, Rodimov was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.[1]
