2024: Victim of telephone scammers from Ukraine

In mid-August 2024, it became known that the Soviet and Russian pop singer, actress, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Larisa Dolina became a victim of fraudsters. She sold her apartment in Moscow and gave the attackers savings totaling about 180 million rubles.

According to Gazeta.Ru, the valley was deceived by telephone scammers from Ukraine. It is said that cybercriminals forced the woman to sell elite Moscow real estate, and transfer the money to a "safe account." We are talking about an apartment in Moscow City with an area of ​ ​ 236 square meters. It is said that Dolina sold this apartment for 112 million rubles. According to Mash, the deal was registered with Lviv Estate.

It is noted that the artist allegedly received a call from the special services, saying that fraudsters were interested in her apartment. The attackers convinced the singer to fictitiously sell the house and send the funds to a certain account. In addition, the criminals lured about 68 million rubles of savings from the singer. Thus, the total amount of damage amounted to 180 million rubles.

When organizing a fraudulent scheme, the attackers, according to Lenta.ru, contacted the real estate agency Lviv Estate and instructed to find buyers for Dolina's apartment. The property was interested in an unnamed person - in May 2024, the singer received a deposit and signed documents. As noted, neither the realtors, nor the Valley, nor the buyers themselves assumed that this was a hoax. As of mid-August 2024, Dolina refuses to give the keys, although according to the documents she sold the apartment and received the money, and the new owners paid a large sum.

According to SHOT, 34-year-old Polina L. bought Dolina's apartment. The girl herself told Mash that she was an English teacher, did not buy the artist's apartment and did not understand how her name got into the contract. According to preliminary information, Lenta.ru notes, the operation was supervised from Ukraine. A criminal case has been opened in connection with the illegal sale of the Moscow apartment of the People's Artist.^[1]
