2024: Appointment as President of the United Breweries Holding

In mid-March 2024, the United Breweries holding (brands Krushovice, Bochkarev, Dr. Diesel, Mr. Lis, Shikhan, Okhota, etc.) announced a change in leadership. Oraz Durdyev, ex-president of AB InBev Efes, has been appointed its president.

According to the Kommersant newspaper, together with Durdyev, some other top managers of AB InBev Efes, beer manufacturer Velkopopovicky Kozel, Old Cask Miller and Klinskoye, joined the United Breweries (OPH) holding. In particular, ex-sales director of AB InBev Efes Anna Mironova took the post of general director of OPH, and former finance director of AB InBev Efes Evgeny Savchenkov was appointed to the post of vice president of finance of OPH. Ex-Head of Ethics and Compliance AB InBev Efes Evgeny Glazov became Vice President for Corporate Regulation and Control of OPH.

Durdyev at the OPH will be responsible for the development and implementation of the development strategy "in a dynamically changing market." It is noted that he has many years of experience in successfully managing an international production and trading company, representing business interests in industry and cross-industrial communities, as well as interacting with authorities and representatives of the public.

Among other things, Mironova's tasks will include the organization of effective operational management of the OPH. Savchenkov will have to oversee the financial strategy. In turn, Glazov will develop an internal audit and control strategy, as well as create a new system for assessing and managing external and internal risks. It is assumed that the new management will introduce in the OPH the best practices from its many years of experience in the Russian market. This will contribute to the sustainable development of both the company itself and the industry as a whole.^[1]
