Biography

He served as executive vice president and commercial director of Travelport Worldwide, Ltd, where he led the comprehensive operational changes that made it possible to successfully conduct an IPO in 2014

He was president and CEO of Carlson Worldwide Travel (CWT). There he planned a digital transformation and ensured significant financial growth, in particular, expanded the contract portfolio by $7 billion.

On December 20, 2021, Sabre Corporation announced the appointment of Kurt Ekert as president of Sabre.
