2023: Sentence - a fine of 3 million rubles for bribes

Belyaeva, neurosurgeon of the highest category, candidate of medical sciences Yegor Kolotov fined 3 million rubles in the case of a bribe. The corresponding decision of the Rudnichny District Court of Kemerovo became known in August 2023.

According to the press service of the FSB Directorate for the Kemerovo Region, the convicted head of the department has repeatedly received bribes from the head of a commercial company for patronage. The total amount of funds received exceeded 600 thousand rubles. It is noted that the director of the company, a regular participant in the procurement of a healthcare institution, supplied medical supplies and products. For the general patronage of a commercial company and the creation of favorable conditions for the conclusion of similar supply contracts, the attacker offered to transfer a bribe to him.

Earlier, in March 2023, the court sentenced the head of MST-Siberia LLC, guilty of giving a bribe, to three years of suspended imprisonment, with a probationary period of 1.5 years. He was also fined 1 million 277 thousand rubles. According to the TFR, the businessman gave the head of the department a bribe with a massage chair, paid for part of its cost - more than 255 thousand rubles. And the rest of the amount was paid by another entrepreneur interested in the help of the head. A criminal case was also opened against him.

According to the service "Kontur. Focus," LLC "MST-Siberia" was established in 2010, registered in Novokuznetsk. In terms of its main activity, it specializes in wholesale trade in pharmaceutical products. At the end of 2022, the organization reported revenue of 95 million rubles and net profit of 16.2 million. The founder and director of the company is Konstantin Arakcheev^[1]

2022: Publication of petition demanding release of Kuzbass neurosurgeon from jail

On June 19, 2022, information appeared that the famous Kemerovo neurosurgeon Yegor Kolotov had been kept in the Kemerovo pre-trial detention center for a long time. Social activists demanded to change the measure of restraint: a petition was published on the Internet demanding the release of Yegor Kolotov from the pre-trial detention center.

He is said to have been detained on suspicion of taking a bribe. In particular, according to an anonymous source, an expensive massage chair was allegedly brought home to Yegor Kolotov. The neurosurgeon was also detained at home as a particularly dangerous criminal. Detention was chosen as a preventive measure.

The specific circumstances of the case as of June 27, 2022 are still not known, and there is also no information about which court ruled on the arrest of the doctor.

Before the arrest, Yegor Kolotov worked as the head of the neurosurgical department of the Kemerovo Regional Clinical Hospital. Patients characterize the neurosurgeon as "positive on all sides of the person." Back in May 2021, the press service of the hospital called Kolotov the head of the neurosurgical department. Mentions were preserved on the hospital website, but it was not possible to find it among the current staff.

A petition demanding the release of Yegor Kolotov from the pre-trial detention center was published on the website change.org.^[2] The appeal was posted by lawyer Gerda Russia Gorskaya.

"A preventive measure has been chosen for a long time. That is, he has been in jail for more than one month, "the lawyer said.

In the electronic file cabinet on the website of the regional court of Kuzbass there is no information about the appeal of the preventive measure by Kolotov. It was not possible to officially confirm the fact of initiating the case as of June 19, 2022.

Kolotov was really mentioned more than once in the media and even in the message of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation about a successfully carried out unique operation^[4].

As of June 27, 2022, the petition had gathered 820 signatures.
