2022: Arrest in the case of bribes

In March 2022, it became known about the initiation of a criminal case against the chief physician of the GBUZ SK "Kislovodskaya City Hospital" Sergey Egorov, as well as the head physician of the Stavropol City Children's Hospital named after Filippsky Vyacheslav Kashnikov. They are suspected of participating in corruption schemes.

According to the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Stavropol Territory, between 2018 and June 2021, Sergey Egorov and Vyacheslav Kashnikov received bribes from Flores LLC in the amount of 5.8 million rubles. Egorov thus earned 3.3 million, and Kashnikova - 2.5 million. For this fee, doctors provided the company and affiliated companies with victory in drawing state contracts for the supply of medical equipment and medicines, the investigation says.

In relation to the management of LLC, the company "Flores" also initiated criminal cases under Part 5 of Art. 291 of the Criminal Code (giving a bribe on an especially large scale).

These criminal cases by the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia were initiated based on the materials of the Main Directorate MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS Russia for the North Caucasus Federal District and the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Stavropol Territory. In addition, investigators seized five premium cars from the company's managers. In relation to everyone, the defendant chose a preventive measure in the form of arrest. The investigation of the case by the end of March 2022 is ongoing.

At the same time, it is not specified whether the accused are removed from their posts as chief doctors. Egorov is a deputy of the City Council of Kislovodsk. According to the newspaper KP-Stavropol, so far his mandate has not been taken away.

According to the RBC Company service, Flores LLC was registered in Essentuki in 2003. The main activity is wholesale trade in pharmaceutical products. The founders of the company are Oleg Ivanov and Sergey Vasiliev (he is the general director of the organization).^[1]
