2023: Sentence - 14 years in prison for treason

On December 27, 2023, the Second Western District Military Court in Moscow sentenced Felix Yeliseyev, administrator of two Telegram channels (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring), to 14 years in prison on charges of treason and public justification of terrorism. He will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony. The convict was fined 100 thousand rubles.

According to TASS with reference to the press secretary of the court Irina Zhirnova, Yeliseyev pleaded guilty and entered into a pre-trial agreement on cooperation with the investigation. At the same time, his criminal case was considered in a special order.

The verdict was passed under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (treason) and part 2 of Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism), follows from the file cabinet. The plot of the criminal case by December 29, 2023 was not disclosed due to the secrecy stamp.

According to the TV channel "360," the reason for initiating a criminal case under the article on the justification of terrorism was Yeliseyeva publications on Telegram, in which they found approval of attacks on an oil depot in Belgorod. And nine months later he was suspected of transferring cryptocurrency to a Ukrainian for ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The funds transferred went to the purchase of uniforms and weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, national battalions and extremist organizations, previously reported in the Office of the Federal Security Service (FSB) in the Lipetsk region.

In January 2023, Rosfinmonitoring included Felix Yeliseyev in the list of terrorists and extremists. The Memorial Human Rights Center (declared a foreign agent, liquidated by the decision of the Supreme Court) considers Yeliseyeva a political prisoner.[1]
