Doug Fisher is the vice president of Intel, the general manager of division of Software and Services Group, Systems Software Division. Heads the global division which is engaged in developments of software of the most different class - operating systems, infrastructure software, the systems of virtualization, client-server products, etc.
Came to the company in 1995 and at first was engaged in development of a number of new products. Then passed into division of Enterprise Platform Group where three years headed the direction of creation of software for control of servers. In 1999 passed into Intel Online Services and went to England. In 2000 became the director of Intel Online Services around the world.
Before coming to Intel, Fischer worked 10 years in Hewlett-Packard company. Has the bachelor's degree in the field of electronic engineering of the University of Oregon of the USA and also MS degree in the field of management of the University of Stanford.
