Arrest

On September 20, 2015 Basmanny Court of Moscow decided to take Vyacheslav Gayzer into custody, despite his complaints about the state of health and a request for house arrest. On the same day the Deputy Prime Minister of the government of Komi Konstantin Romadanov was arrested.

Statement of Investigative Committee

On September 19, 2015 the Investigative Committee of Russia reported^[1]that Vyacheslav Gayzer together with the deputy Alexey Chernov headed criminal community which purpose - "commission of the serious crimes directed to taking in the criminal way by state property" ^[1].

Alexey Chernov works in the government of Komi since 2002. Since 2006 is the deputy head of the republic. Since 2012 Chernov in addition is responsible for implementation in Komi of uniform state policy in the field of development of communication, development of information society and formation of the electronic government and also for the public and municipal services.

Heads of community in addition to Gayzer and Chernov, according to SK, were also Alexander Zarubin and Valery Veselov.

Management on investigation of especially important issues of Investigative Committee brings on September 18, 2015 criminal case concerning 19 heads and participants of criminal community who committed during the period from 2006 to 2015 the crimes provided by Articles 210 (criminal community) and 159 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, - said in SK.

The community, according to SK, differed in scale of the activity expressed in the interregional and international nature of criminal acts of its participants, hierarchical creation of the criminal organization, unity and close interrelation of heads and participants of criminal community, strict subordination of subordinate participants higher, the conspiracy fulfilled by a system and protection against law enforcement agencies.

On June 10, 2019 it is found guilty of corruption and it is condemned by Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow on 11 years of imprisonment in maximum security penal colonies and 160 million rubles of a penalty.
