Albert Gilmanov was born in 1981 in Yekaterinburg.

Education

In 2004 he graduated from the Ural State University of Economics with a degree in World Economy.

Career

2005-2013

Albert Gilmanov began his career at MTS in 2005, joining the financial department of the Ural macro-region.

In 2011-2013 He headed the financial unit of the Ural branch of Komstar-Regions CJSC, where he was responsible for the transformation of fixed business assets for subsequent joining the MTS Group.

In 2013, while working at MTS, he took up the post of financial director of the macro-region "Center."

2014-2020

From 2016 to 2019, he headed the financial service of the Moscow region, from 2019 to 2020 - the Strategic cluster.

In 2018-2020 worked as the general director of LLC Avantage"," where he ensured the successful accession of the largest Russia data center in to the computing infrastructure of PJSC "."MTS

In January 2020, he took the position of director for the implementation of digital solutions of the Strategic cluster of MTS PJSC, and from May 2021 he joined the management team of the MGTS director.

In the period from 2014 to 2017 - member of the board of directors of Teleservice JSC, from 2019 to 2020 - member of the board of directors of Avantage LLC.

2021: Appointment as Head of MGTS

On August 11, 2021, MGTS announced the appointment of Albert Gilmanov as the new CEO of the company. He replaced Vladislav Medvedev, who led the telecommunications operator since November 2019.

On August 12, 2021, Vladislav Medvedev will take the post of Deputy General Director of MGTS for Technology. As for Gilmanov, a labor contract within the position of the general director was concluded for three years.

MGTS explains the personnel changes by the fact that the parent MTS plans to bring the bulk of telecom and IT services into a separate legal entity - MTS Web Services.^[1]
