Giovanni lives in the city Zurich Switzerland.
Education
Giovanni has degrees of the bachelor and the master on different disciplines: banking, business administration, sales and marketing and also several diplomas in the field of maintaining and business development.
Career
Giovanni was engaged in management in Sun Microsystems and Compaq Computers and achieved sales growth in international markets.
Giovanni headed division of partners and global strategic alliances in emerging markets in Cisco Systems in the region including more than 40 countries – the Central Eastern Europe (CEE), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Middle East. It worked with the partner community of a world class consisting from more than 2,500 participants and showed excellent results in the rating of assessment of customer satisfaction within two years in a row. During operation in Cisco Systems of Giovanni developed model of a partner magic quadrant and also methodology of improvement of quick operational sales (ROSE) for service providers and system integrators for the purpose of reduction of the period from production of products and services before their entry into the market and also time of return of investments.
Since 2012 worked in SAP where was the vice president of division of Global Strategic System Integrator (GSSI) and was responsible for vision, the purpose, the strategy of business of resellers and also for expansion of business of the largest global GSSI partner of SAP.
In April, 2016 Giovanny Di Philippot is appointed the vice president for work with partners in EMEA region in Riverbed Technology working in support areas and implementations of infrastructure of application performance management. Giovanny is responsible for the strategy of development for the partner channel, expansion of presence in the market, development of a partner ecosystem and sales growth. By 2016 Giovanny Di Philippot has more than 25 years' experience of the management on the highest positions in the field of global channel sales. Giovanny Di Philippot submits to Kristian Thyregod, the senior vice president in EMEA countries.

2020: Appointment to the post of the president of Lenovo DCG in the countries of Europe, the Middle East and Africa
On February 7, 2020 it became known that the Lenovo company announced that Dee Philippot Giovanni (Giovanni Di Filippo) joined Lenovo Data Center Group (DCG).
Giovanni held a post of the president of Lenovo DCG in the countries of Europe, the Middle East and EMEA. He will build up partner relations and customers of DPC and to develop business of Lenovo DCG in EMEA region.
Giovanni worked with several European startups, advised them in the field of ensuring sustainable development and helped to create international departments of sales.
Giovanni is a supporter of reasonable models of the sales based on a partner ecosystem. One of the Giovanni's purposes — world-class team development which will even stronger strengthen partner relations and customers.
