Golovchenko Novel Aleksandrovich

Roman Aleksandrovich Golovchenko was born on August 10, 1973 in the city of Zhodino of the Minsk region of the Belarusian SSR.

Biography

1997-2002

In 1997-2002 worked as the chief specialist of the State secretariat of the Security council of the Republic of Byelorussia.

2002-2006

From 2002 to 2005 - the assistant department head of the Prosecutor General's Office of the republic. In 2005-2006 was the chief adviser of management of foreign policy of Administration of the President of Belarus of Alexander Lukashenko.

2006-2009

From 2006 to 2009 held positions of the chief adviser of department of cooperation in the field of the international security, the chief adviser of management of the international security of the State secretariat of the Security council of the Republic of Byelorussia.

In July - December, 2009 worked as the minister counselor of Embassy of Belarus in Poland.

2018

Till August, 2018 was the ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus in the UAE and also in Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia (in combination).

On August 18, 2018 the decree of the president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko Roman Golovchenko was appointed the chairman of the State military-industrial committee of the republic.

2020: Appointment as the prime minister of Belarus

On June 4, 2020 the president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko appointed the new Prime Minister. Roman Golovchenko became him, replaced Sergey Rumas whose government was dismissed on June 3, 2020 With positions of the prime minister Golovchenko.

Education

In 1996 the Russian Foreign Ministry (MGIMO the MFA of Russia) in "the international relations" graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.

In 2003 graduated from Academy of management at the president of the Republic of Byelorussia majoring in "economy and management of foreign economic activity".
