2025: Appointment as CEO of one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the Russian Federation Renewal

On October 16, 2025, Vladimir Grechkin was appointed to the post of CEO of one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Russia, Renewal (PFC Update JSC). In this position, he replaced Dmitry Grisyuk, co-founder and shareholder of Renewal, who led the organization since the spring of 2023.

Grechkin graduated from Novosibirsk State Technical University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics and Electrical Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering and Technology). He has an accounting degree of candidate of technical sciences. He was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (2020) and other state awards.

Grechkin has been working in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 15 years. In particular, he previously served as chief executive of Renewal. Under his leadership, the company successfully implemented projects for the development of production sites, modernization and automation of production and business processes. It is noted that at the initiative of Grechkin, Renewal was the first among pharmaceutical companies on the Russian market to prematurely switch to the industrial production of the entire volume of medicines with the Data Matrix digital labeling code (they are part of the Honest Sign state labeling system).

The company says that Grechkin's transition to the post of CEO of Renewal is planned. Grisiuk will continue at Renewal in another position. According to network sources, in the new post he will focus on finance.[1]
