2020: Dismissal from PrivatBank

At the beginning of August, 2020 it became known of dismissal of the Chief information officer of PrivatBank Andrey Gritsenyuk. About it on the page on Facebook the member of the supervisory board of bank Roman Sulzhik wrote.

Today one of the best specialists left PrivatBank. Even in London and New York I could count people on fingers of one hand. Also left not because something is not pleasant to it in PrivatBank... He left because to it, as well as other heads of Privat and members of the supervisory board, already about half a year do not pay fair salary — he reported.

Gritsenyuk confirmed this information to the NV Business edition, having explained that he received the offer to hold a similar position in commercial bank where the restriction of the salary initiated by the president Vladimir Zelensky does not work.

The reason is simple. The fifth month without salary. Since April the salary was limited to 47,000 UAH (about 125 thousand rubles at the rate of for August 10, 2020) with taxes and social package. It is the salary of the good IT specialist, programmer second-year student — Gritsenyuk said, having added that his many subordinates to whom legislative restriction does not extend, receive many times more.

According to Gritsenyuk, in a zone of his responsibility in PrivatBank there were all software development, infrastructure, support, maintenance of systems, ATMs, POS terminals, booths, a card processing center — everything that is connected with support and operation of cards.

At the end of April, 2020 the cabinet of Ukraine limited the amount of the salary of heads of executive bodies and members of the supervisory boards of state companies to 47 thousand UAH a month. The authorities of Ukraine in the memorandum of the IMF according to the new stand by program undertook the obligation to cancel the specified restriction till July 1, however it was not made.^[1][2]
