Was born on April 1, 1974 in family of military. The first years of life passed in Estonia – the cities of Haapsalu and Võru. "Up to three years I practically did not talk, the version of parents in this respect is as follows: just I could not solve in what language – Russian or Estonian – to address them", - Sergey laughs. In 1980 the family moved to the town of Postavy of the Vitebsk region. "Postava is the city of my childhood, there I know all back streets, there everything is expensive and memorable to me. There I like to return to rethink the events in life. The brightest childhood memory such: to me years six, I at reckless speed ride a swing and at the top of the voice I sing the popular then song "Kings Can Do Everything!". It seemed to me that the whole world is open for me, everything is possible. I try to save this feeling in myself and now, in adulthood".
In 1990 Sergey arrived in only the BGU lyceum created then. "It was heavy to arrive, and it was not less heavy then not take off: all children were very strong, I very much tried to try to keep step with them. We had a mind-blowing preparation, very intensive training – I took out the main knowledge from lyceum". In 1992 Sergey was enlisted on faculty of applied mathematics and information science of BGU. "In comparison with lyceum the intensity of occupations at the university was lower, free time appeared. I actively played sports, was in two university national teams at once – on basketball and on track and field athletics".
In 1994 began to work with study in IBA. "It was madly interesting time. Strongest, most talented, best "technicians" – everything worked in IBA. I remember how we gathered everything, discussed the most difficult tasks, thought out non-standard solutions. I will not be afraid to tell that IBA became a source of manpower for the Belarusian IT market".
Soon Sergey became the most young head of department in IBA – was responsible for training of young specialists. "To me charged to teach an intensive training course on FPMI BGU. Distances of the best students, entirely winner foreign affairs specialists, - and complete freedom of action. I gave all the best for all 200%: - worked with nights in the afternoon – sat thought out tasks, looked for non-standard examples, and during the occupations tried to force children to work to the full extent, exploited from them. I do not think that they guessed that on a part of tasks I did not know the answer: we looked for the solution together".
In 1996 Sergey passed to work in Belkhard Group Ltd: to it suggested to head only the project with complete freedom of action and all powers created at that time. At own risk Sergey hired the students – and did not lose. Many of them are top managers of Itransition for today, others are at the head of the IT companies. Already then Sergey had an idea to create the company. In two years the dream was turned into reality: within structure Belkharda Sergey created the division, the dream-team – Itransition. Now it is difficult to believe in it, but at the time of creation in the company there were only 5 specialists and one client.
"We made many mistakes, typed cones – but persistently moved forward. I believed that at us everything will turn out. From the very beginning I staked on young talented, ambitious people with not numbed thinking. And my rate came true, confirmation to that is today's success of Itransition. Already it is more than 1000 people of us, we actively develop the international network of representations, we aim to be closer to our clients and their requirements. I am sure that we are waited still by big achievements and progress - the whole world is open for us, everything is possible".
