Hermann Maria Hauser is an entrepreneur, was born in Vienna (Austria), constantly lives in Great Britain. Has the higher education in the field of physics (the University of Vienna) and the degree of the Doctor of Physical Sciences received then in Cambridge, in Cavendish Laboratory.
It is most known for participation in creation of Acorn company together with Chris Curry in 1978, is also involved in foundation of Olivetti Research Laboratory (ORL) in Cambridge.
In 1998 invested one million pounds of own means in creation of the Active Book Company then which is safely sold AT&T and transformed to EO where Hauzer was several years the technology director of the European block. In 1990 acted as the co-founder of Advanced RISC Machines (ARM) company. Participated in several successful technology startups.
In 2009 headed research network East Anglia Stem CelL. Is not managing director of Cambridge Display Technology Ltd, XMOS Ltd and the member of council of Red-M (Communications).
