Conducting searches, as a result of which prohibited substances were found

On November 21, 2024 online movie theater Kion , searches were carried out in the house of general producer Igor Mishin in a cottage village near Moscow in Zhukovka. It is said that during these measures, the security forces seized the package, the contents of which were sent for examination.

According to RIA Novosti, referring to an informed source, the searches were carried out as part of the case "on ties with Ukrainian terrorists." According to "112," Mishin is checked for communication with gallery owner Marat Gelman (recognized as a foreign agent), who in November 2024 was included in the list of extremists and terrorists of Rosfinmonitoring.

They found allegedly prohibited substances from him, but came initially in a case in which the connection of persons accused of complicity with Ukrainian terrorists is checked, - noted in the publication "RIA Novosti."

Comments on what is happening were given by journalist Ksenia Sobchak. According to her, no searches were carried out in Mishin's office. Sobchak emphasizes that the actions of law enforcement agencies were a shock to the family of the Kion general producer.

This is not true, according to my sources, - wrote Sobchak in her Telegram channel.

Mishin, as RBC adds, attended the so-called "naked party" organized by TV presenter Nastya Ivleeva. This event was held in the Moscow club "Mutabor" on the night of December 21, 2023. The MTS company, which owns the Kion cinema, emphasized that they are not related to the event, "are not its sponsor or organizer."^[1]

Quitting Kion

Igor Mishin resigned as general producer online movie theater Kion after searches in his house. This was reported in the press service of the company at the end of November 2024.

The labor contract with Mishin was terminated by agreement of the parties "due to personal circumstances," Kion said in a statement. Mishin named the same reason and clarified that "he decided to end his career in the industry." He added that he worked in the media business for 35 years. Mishin's new place of work by the end of November 2024 has not been named.
