Shareholders decided to build the most progressive tech bank in Vietnam. For this task, I did a consulting project with them as an individual consultant, after which they invited me to implement everything I planned. So I am in the project for several years, told Mushakov TAdviser

During the restructuring of IT processes in the bank, the Russian IT manager moved to live in Vietnam.

The services of the banking market in Vietnam, according to CIO VP Bank, are still in its infancy - many of the opportunities that were already in Russia five years ago are an area for the development of the Vietnamese banking market.

However, there are all the features of the market that this will be a jump in growth, since many digital banking services have already been shown, despite the fact that standard banking services leave much to be desired

Vietnam's banks, according to Mushakov, are at the stage of rapid growth and market capture, "which is why now the tasks of technological growth and development are the main ones, which is exactly what attracts specialists from all over the world to this market at present."

A technologically advanced local bank can be characterized by the best standard banking service on the market, high adaptability and speed of changes compared to local banks, a digital banking service that complements the standard, CIO believes.

Mushakov plans to attract people to the bank's IT team, representing "what it is to work with staff from Asia, with knowledge of English, who want to fundamentally change their lives."

As IT contractors, the new Chief information officer of VP Bank considers, first of all, players in the Asian market (mainly from China, Malaysia, Singapore), but does not exclude work with international companies specializing in specific solutions, including Russian ones.
