2026: Appointment as CEO of UEC-Saturn aircraft engine manufacturer

At the end of January 2026, UEC Saturn United Engine Corporation Rostec Ilya Konyukhov was appointed General Director of "" (part of the state corporation). In this position, he replaced Victor Polyakov, who will continue to work in the UEC as an adviser to the head.

Konyukhov graduated from the RGATA (RGATU) named after P.A. Solovyov with a degree in Information Systems in Economics. At the enterprise "UEC-Saturn" has been operating for 25 years. He began his career as a leading engineer. Then he worked in the department of financial control, program economics and joint ventures, the directorate of economics and finance. In 2019, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director - Director for Economics and Finance of UEC-Saturn.

As noted, under the leadership of Konyukhov, work was successfully carried out on financial, economic and contractual support for R&D, the organization of a production and testing base for products, including within the framework of the import substitution program. Konyukhov was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree.

Ilya Borisovich Konyukhov has been appointed General Director of UEC-Saturn. He worked all his life at the enterprise, went a serious way in the industry. This is a person who has developed personal responsibility for the enterprise, for the team, for each employee. Ilya Borisovich faces difficult tasks that will contribute to development, - said the head of the UEC Alexander Grachev.

UEC-Saturn specializes in the development, production, after-sales maintenance of gas turbine engines for aviation, power generating and gas pumping plants, ships, offshore and coastal industrial facilities. The company has introduced modern technologies for mechanical processing of various types and levels of complexity, casting, welding, soldering, coating, laser cutting, repair, etc.^[1]
