According to the court decision, the official was detained for two months. He will stay in the pre-trial detention center until April 17, 2021. According to investigators, from April to June 2020, the accused received a bribe in the amount of 450 thousand rubles from the head of a commercial organization for committing illegal actions in favor of the company when pricing, concluding, executing and paying for a municipal contract worth 3.5 million rubles for supply, as well as installing remote temperature detection systems for people in the premises of the MFC Chelyabinsk.

Oleg Izvekov was detained on February 18. The Investigative Committee for the region opened a criminal case under paragraph "c" of Part 5 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code ("Receiving a bribe on a large scale").^[1]
