Was one of heads of sales department, at first in EMC, and then in Dell after merge of Dell and EMC. During operating time in Dell EMC it managed to achieve growth of business of the direction of the company delivering the software, the equipment and services for data centers, to form a magnificent team of sales department and to provide increase in volume of profit at the end of year within several years.

2021: Vice president for a global partner network and alliances Commvault

On January 12, 2021 the Commvault company, the software maker for data management in clouds and in corporate IT infrastructure, announced John Tavares appointment the vice president for a global partner network and alliances.

At the position Tavares performs the general management of development of a global partner network of Commvault (Global Partner Organization, GPO) and develops cooperation of the company with partners worldwide.

I am glad that I will be able to apply in Commvault my long-term experience of the organization of sales and I will make the contribution to gain of reputation of the company as reliable solution provider of a corporate class of data management for the global channel, - Tavares said. The global partner organization achieved remarkable progress despite very difficult situation in which it worked in 2020. I hope that based on these achievements we will be able to develop further long-term cooperation with partners which will bring to our customers notable advantages.

The former vice president of Commvault for a global partner network and alliances Mercer of Rowe (Mercer Rowe) will hold a position of the vice president and general manager of Commvault Systems Japan now. Its main objectives at a position became growth in the region of business of Metallic (department of Commvault providing SaaS) and further gain of positions of Commvault in the Pacific Rim.

John came to Commvault in the most suitable time and brought the valuable expert experience accumulated for many years of work in the Global partner organization. Its appointment testifies to big plans of our company for the next financial year, - Riccardo Di Blasio, the head of accounting of income, Commvault told. - I am sure that John as the head of our organization for work with the channel, will achieve rapid development of cooperation with partners that will significantly expand our customer base and will increase the profit of the company.
