2023: Death in an accident

Top manager of Rostelecom Anton Kalinin died in an accident on Rublevo-Uspenskoe highway in Moscow. This was reported on July 20, 2023 by the TASS agency with reference to the press service of the capital's headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

It is clarified that the incident occurred on July 19 at about 21:00. The motorcycle driver drove into the oncoming lane and collided with the PAZ bus.

The motorcyclist was injured and was sent to the city clinical hospital (GKB), where he later died, - said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow.

Kalinin's death was confirmed to the news agency by the Rostelecom press service. They said that he served as the head of the internal control service of the General Service Center branch^[1] of^[2]

Telegram channel SHOT photos from the scene. One of them shows a motorcycle lying in a ditch without visible damage. In the next frame, a bus is captured, whose bumper is damaged.

The 32-year-old principal<…> was driving his Ducati towards<…> the village of Borki and collided with a bus. The top manager was hospitalized with multiple fractures, but he died in the hospital, the Telegram channel said in a statement.

According to information from open sources, Kalinin began his career at AvtoVAZ and subsequently worked for more than ten years in the field of internal audit and control in various industries. As part of the working group, he integrated the standard business processes of Renault-Nissan Alliance. In OJSC "SU No. 2" carried out the functions of internal audit and economic security.
